Leverette Weekes was founded 50 years ago in 1973 by Meredith’s parents, also Howard University alums, as a way to create opportunities for Black professionals who found themselves facing barriers to access in Minnesota. Nearly seven years ago, with her parents’ blessing, Meredith repurposed and rebranded Leverette Weekes as a powerful communications company.
