Leverette-Weekes was founded 50 years ago in 1973 by Meredith’s parents, also Howard University alums, as a way to create opportunities for Black attorneys who found themselves facing barriers to access. Nearly seven years ago, with her parents’ blessing, Meredith repurposed and rebranded Leverette Weekes as a powerful communications company.
