I started 2024 with big goals and clear intentions for how Leverette Weekes would do business. The results have been more than I could have imagined. This year has led to several wins for us internally and our clients, too:

  • This year, our clients media relations strategies reached over 144 million viewers

  • Our clients appeared on stage at the 30th anniversary of the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.

  • We successfully managed and announced three executive leadership transitions.

  • We gained DBE certification in Minnesota and New York.

  • I was recognized as a Woman in Business by Minneapolis-St Paul Business Journal.

  • Our team produced multiple in-person client events and awards in New York, Washington, D.C., Minneapolis, and Marthaā€™s Vineyard.

  • We hosted our first Momentum Summit and started welcoming sponsors for the next one.

  • I sold over 150 copies of Getting Unstuck and launched the Getting Unstuck Community online.

  • I completed my first term as board member of the Minnesota Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and co-chaired the Classics Awards.

As I close out 2024, I am grateful for the team and partners of Leverette Weekes who help us achieve excellence. Iā€™m equally grateful for our clients whoā€™ve trusted us with their communications and media needs throughout the year.

Our team will be taking a well-deserved break until January 6th. During this time, weā€™ll also be defining what success looksā€”both for our organization and the clients we serve.
